Aldi customers are always keen to discuss their preferred method for mastering the discount supermarket's notoriously fast checkout.

It's an adrenalin sport, and many a customer has suggested ways to slow down this process so their groceries can be placed in their trolleys safely instead of having to throw them in to simply keep up.

Coming to the rescue of Aldi shoppers around the country is comedy duo The Inspired Unemployed who have shown us exactly how to master the Aldi checkout process in a new video.

In the video, we see a 'customer' limping out of the 'store' having caught all their groceries in their arms.

The next 'customer' approaches with his basket of groceries and before he can unpack them all, the 'server' begins swiping them and throwing them off the conveyor belt.

The customer attempts to catch each of the items and place them in his bag, in clear breach of Aldi's usual policy of repacking the items in the basket or trolley before taking them to the bench for packing into bags.

At first he keeps up, but the server scans the items faster and faster and the customer only catches every third item.

By the end of the hilarious spoof video, the Aldi 'server' is throwing the items at the customer before requesting payment in a friendly tone.

Aldi customers have long discussed why servers seem intent on scanning so quickly. Once scanned, customers are not allowed to pack their items into bags at the checkout, instead left to take their trolley and bags to the awaiting bench for packing. Others choose to pack them at their vehicles.

The Inspired Unemployed is made up of NSW locals Jack Steele and Matt Ford and this latest video has left their followers in stitches.

"Crying," one commented.

"Literally how all my experiences at Aldi Australia have been," added another.

Others shared their tips from previous experiences.

"Finally found the trick! Load it all into a trolley then into bags calmly at the car," one seasoned Aldi customer suggested.

"I've been saying this for years!!!" another said. "You need a f--king ANTI- ANXIETY and a PREWORKOUT before you shop at Aldi!!"

Recent changes to Aldi checkouts include self-service options and aisles for less items, helping to speed up the process for some.

In a Reddit thread discussing Aldi's unique checkout process , many have pointed out less checkout staff and fast service are key to keeping prices low.

"I must say this is one of my favorite things about Aldi. Fast check out is awesome. Bagging my own groceries is not so bad. I like no chit chat at the register. I can be in and out in thirty minutes and buy a week's groceries. Life is good at Aldi," one wrote.

An Aldi worker also weighed in on the conversation, commenting: "Aldi worker here. It's why the items have like 10 barcodes on them to. Average is 42 items scanned a minute."
