Uttar Pradesh: Conveyor belt plant in Noida caught fire, No one was injured

Utter Pradesh: Noida, October 8 (PTI) Early Saturday morning, officials reported that a factory in Noida caught fire, and relief efforts had continued overnight. The fire started at 11 p.m. at night in the multi-story factory that was located in the industrial Sector 63 of the city, according to the officials.

According to Chief Fire Officer Arun Kumar Singh, there were no injuries reported as a result of the incident that occurred in the factory that manufactures rubber-based conveyor belts.

As soon as they heard about the incident, more than a dozen water tenders and a number of firefighting teams rushed to the scene. “The fire is under control in a lot of areas, and efforts are being made to put it out completely,” Singh, who is in charge of the relief effort, said at 1.30 am.

Once the fire is brought under control, an investigation into the cause of the fire as well as an assessment of the damage to the property will be carried out, he added. A huge fire broke out earlier on Friday in a plant in the city’s Sector 3 that was involved in the production of plastic goods.
